Fire Nights

Sun lights
the Summer Day
hour
after
hour
raising quiet fires
in every living heart.

Smoldering sparks
that endure
the weight of
humid luminesence
waiting for
the moment when
Sky turns
his purple cloak
against the Sun's light.

Then . . .

Sparks ignite
waking
Sprites to dance
opening magical spaces
where
Fairies peak,
Unicorns walk
and
Dragonflies speak
on the Fire Nights
of Summer.

Abundant blessings,

Faeries dance
along moonlit paths
that wind between
where Humans dream.
