Maple
Carrots
2 pounds of
carrots
1 teaspoon of
maple flavoring
1 package of
*White Stevia Powder
1 tablespoon of
reduced fat margarine
Peel carrots and
cut lengthwise in half, then cut each half lengthwise in half again.
Put in a micro-wave glass bowl with 1/4 cup of water. Cover and cook
till carrots are done but still a little firm in texture. Length of
time will depend on your microwave. Mine is 1000 watt and I cook
them for 5 minutes on High, stir place back in the microwave for
another 5 minutes.
Pour carrots into
colander to drain. Place margarine into the same bowl. . . it should
be warm enough to melt the margarine . . . if not place back in
microwave and melt according to your microwaves directions. When
margarine is melted add maple flavoring and White Stevia Powder . .
. stir and add carrots . . . stir to mix well.
Enjoy!
*White Stevia
Powder packets can be found in the health food section of most
grocery stores. If you have a Fred Meyers Store in your area
that is where I bought mine. Or you can find where to get it and
