Ever since I can remember, I have always loved creating things. I would rearrange my room over and over again until I found the right look. When attending the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, an instructor gave me a great compliment regarding my art, and how natural I seemed at it. I drew caricatures of friends and co-workers, and taught teenagers arts and crafts.

My husband I have struggled for a long time, and I wanted to do something to help him.  One day I was watching Oprah Winfrey, which was about stay at home moms who started their own businesses.  It inspired me, and I decided I wanted to do something with my life.  A dress that I wanted to keep as a reminder of my daughter became my first creation. From that point, Janet’s Creative Pillows was born.  I have sold my pillows in England, Australia , and all over the United States.  My goal is to provide for my family.  I truly believe that if you want something in life, you must never give up, because with God all things are possible!
